I love this family.  They're freaking cool.  This shoot was pretty cool too.  Location, also awesome.  Pretty much a great night was had by all!

The Merritt's -- Metro Detroit Family Photographer.

This girl is the greatest.  Seriously the best thing ever.  I'm so lucky to have met her a few years ago through a photography blog.  I never knew she would eventually become my soul sister!  So while I was in Utah over the summer we were able to do a fabulous session out at the Salt Flats…which is one of my favorite locations IN THE WORLD!  It was so much fun.  The mosquito's were totally lame, but Candi and her family, totally awesome. :)

Sutton Family-Metro Detroit Family Photographer.

This was probably one of my favorite photo shoots to date.  I've been in touch with Holly, their daughter, who gifted this photo shoot to her parents for Christmas.  I thought that was such a fabulous gift!  I think every family needs to have this sort of documentation done.  Absolutely priceless! They invited me to document their family and their incredible home and property in the Michigan countryside.  Wow.  Seriously so beautiful!  They were so warm and welcoming and so very happy.  It was seriously a pleasure to capture these moments for them.

50 years-Metro Detroit Family Photographer.

It was such a pleasure photographing this amazing couple.  They will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this coming July.  It's always exciting capturing 'young love' but on the flip-side, to photograph this couple that have been through 50 years together, there is a special and unique bond that was so much fun to witness.  I'm honored they let me capture these moments for them.

Seriously had the best time at this shoot.  Such a beautiful location.  Such a beautiful couple.  Can't wait to meet their little sweet pea in July!  Congrats, Megan and Adam!!

I love families.  Have I said that?  Family photography is the best.  I love being able to watch these sweet children and families interact together.  You can't go home grumpy after watching parents love on their littles, am I right?  This family is pretty freaking cool, too.  We've know each other since the wee days of medical school.  I got to photography their adopted daughter, Paige as a newborn and also their sweet little miracle baby, Hayden.  Now look at these girls!!  All grown up!
